TECHNOLOGIES WE USED
- UIKit
- Swift
- Figma
Our Approach
How We Built the App
The app was built using Swift. UIKit helped shape the screens and made sure each one loaded quickly. We did not use extra animations that would slow things down. The design followed a flow that made sense. Tabs were added at the bottom so users could easily move between screens. Listings show hotel name, price, rating, and a note about cancellation. You can tap for more, but the main info is always there. The forms for dates and guest info are short. Before payment, the app checks for any price updates. That keeps the process honest and clear. Everything was tested many times on different iPhones.
How We Designed for Mobile
Figma was used to map out each screen. The team made sure the buttons were large enough to tap without mistakes. Font size was kept easy to read. Hotel cards had one image, price, and a short label if cancellation was free. Too much detail was avoided at first glance. More could be seen only if the user asked for it. We added filters that matched what people usually look for. Location, price, and reviews. The booking screen stayed clean with no clutter. The whole app was tested with travellers to see where they got stuck. If something confused them, it was changed.
How We Keep It Working
TestFlight helped us send trial versions to users. Their feedback told us what worked and what needed fixing. Traveluro watches how people use the app to see if they get stuck at any point. Listings are refreshed daily. If one data source stops working, another fills the gap. That way, hotel info stays live. Support is there all day and night. When the app is updated, changes are made so that nothing breaks. Speed is checked before every release. The goal is to keep it steady and simple for users every day.Our Solution
Used UIKit and Swift to make a stable iOS app
Built every screen in Figma with space and simple steps
Showed hotel name, price, and key tags up front
Gave filters that helped users choose fast
