Traveluro

Traveluro is an app from Holisto LTD that helps you get the best hotel deals. It works on iPhones and helps people book rooms without needing a website. The app is simple to use and offers numerous advantages. Travellers can search for hotels, apply a few filters, and confirm their booking in minutes. Some places offer free cancellation, which is helpful if plans change. The app shows clear prices and gives mobile-only discounts. No printing is needed because the booking is saved on the phone. You can also check local attractions nearby. Traveluro is made for people who want less hassle while planning a trip. It keeps everything direct so users stay focused on what matters.

Traveluro App

Challenges

Making this app work the right way was not easy. Hotel rates change often, so the app had to keep showing the latest numbers. That meant pulling data from many sources without delays. The listings had to stay clean and short while still giving enough details. Room type, price, and rules had to be clear before booking. Another issue was keeping the app fast even if the user was on a slow phone. They could be booking from anywhere, so speed had to stay stable. Travellers also wanted to trust what they saw. Nothing hidden and no steps that felt confusing. The team also had to follow Apple’s rules for how the app should behave. With all that, the goal stayed the same—to make booking a room feel simple from start to end.

TECHNOLOGIES WE USED

Our Approach

How We Built the App

The app was built using Swift. UIKit helped shape the screens and made sure each one loaded quickly. We did not use extra animations that would slow things down. The design followed a flow that made sense. Tabs were added at the bottom so users could easily move between screens. Listings show hotel name, price, rating, and a note about cancellation. You can tap for more, but the main info is always there. The forms for dates and guest info are short. Before payment, the app checks for any price updates. That keeps the process honest and clear. Everything was tested many times on different iPhones.

How We Designed for Mobile

Figma was used to map out each screen. The team made sure the buttons were large enough to tap without mistakes. Font size was kept easy to read. Hotel cards had one image, price, and a short label if cancellation was free. Too much detail was avoided at first glance. More could be seen only if the user asked for it. We added filters that matched what people usually look for. Location, price, and reviews. The booking screen stayed clean with no clutter. The whole app was tested with travellers to see where they got stuck. If something confused them, it was changed.

How We Keep It Working

TestFlight helped us send trial versions to users. Their feedback told us what worked and what needed fixing. Traveluro watches how people use the app to see if they get stuck at any point. Listings are refreshed daily. If one data source stops working, another fills the gap. That way, hotel info stays live. Support is there all day and night. When the app is updated, changes are made so that nothing breaks. Speed is checked before every release. The goal is to keep it steady and simple for users every day.
