Vendcell
VendCell Systems is based in Australia, and their team developed an app that helps people keep an eye on vending machines without needing to be there in person. The system gives live updates, so users know what is happening with each machine at any time. It runs on telemetry, which means the app pulls real-time info straight from the machine. Operators and staff can see stock levels, whether the machine is working, and if anything needs attention. There is also a map view inside the app that shows each machine’s location, along with its temperature and signal strength.

Challenges
Running vending machines across many locations brings unique problems. Operators need to know what is running low, what is not working, and what needs restocking. In the past, this meant checking each machine in person, which slowed things down. A better option was needed—one that gives live updates and cuts down on travel. Without accurate data, machines could stay empty or offline longer than necessary. That hurts customer experience and reduces sales. As operations grow, the need for quick updates and smart tools becomes more important for keeping things running smoothly.

Our Approach
Remote Access and Monitoring
VendCell allows vending operators to check on their machines without making a site visit. Users can view current sales figures through a single dashboard, monitor signal strength, and check if each machine is active or offline. The system also displays machine temperature, the most recent fill date, and data sync. Locations are easy to track using a map view built into the app. This setup helps teams react faster when problems arise. It also saves time by cutting down on trips to machines that are already running smoothly.Stock Management and Refill Support
Managing inventory becomes very easy with VendCell’s tools. Users can follow preset layouts that organize products inside each vending machine. It makes the refill process more accurate. The app shows what items have sold, what is left inside, and how much is available in storage. It then generates a packing list based on that data, so refillers bring only what they need. The curbside fill feature makes quick restocking easier in places with limited space (or high foot traffic). These tools help prevent stockouts, reduce waste, and improve refill efficiency.Polling and Location Updates
Sometimes, machines get moved or replaced. With VendCell, staff can update the location directly in the system using the map tool. That way, the app always shows where each machine actually is. When it comes to sales and stock data, they can request the latest figures from any machine, so they know what has sold and what still needs to be filled. Our Solution
