Challenges
Building Holisto was not simple. Hotel prices keep changing, so the app had to show the most current rates. The system needed to bring this data quickly and with no mistakes. The design had to be easy to follow but still offer useful tools. It had to load fast, even when the list of hotels was long. People do not enjoy apps that crash or take too long to respond. If it feels slow or hard to use, they will leave. The app also had to work well on phones with less storage. With many other travel apps out there, Holisto had to stand out. It needed to stay clear, fast, and useful at all times. Every part of the app had to serve a real purpose.
